Before using the diffuser, most of the pulse air was consumed at the top of the retainer, preventing it from reaching the bottom of the retainer, which caused clogging and resulted in only about 30% of the filtration area being utilized. After use, the diffuser reduces the consumption of pulse air at the top of the retainer, allowing pulse air to reach the bottom of the retainer, effectively utilizing the entire filter surface area and enabling continuous operation.
