We would like to introduce a case study conducted by Naox Co., Ltd. A customer who owns a motorcycle manufactured 50 years ago expressed a desire to replace a broken spring in the front fork, stating that manufacturer support had ended and external parts were unavailable. They wanted to repair and continue using the motorcycle, which they are very attached to. In response, we investigated the actual machine, created drawings assuming a new condition, and manufactured two new springs. The uneven pitch springs we had on hand were deformed, but we reproduced them based on the original condition when they were new.
