When performing multi-point measurements with multiple sensors, each requires an amplifier and a display device, and connecting each to the PLC for data acquisition can create a heavy load and various issues. By using the M400 + M-Bus connection, many devices can be connected at once, and the M400 display analyzer can determine OK/NG status, sending only the OK/NG signals and measurement values to the PLC. This reduces the burden on the PLC and allows for simultaneous display of 32 channels, improving visibility and enabling management of two measurement stations using the group automatic switching function. The M-Bus connection allows for the processing of up to 99 signals, with simultaneous display of up to 32 channels. It can accept inputs from electric micrometers, digital scales, air micrometers, RS232 signals, Mitutoyo digital signals, and analog temperature sensors. By using an I/O unit, easy control of devices is possible, with the capability to control 8 signal points. The I/O signals can be controlled based on OK/NG judgments, allowing it to be used as a controller for automatic machines. Data can be saved in CSV format to internal memory or USB memory, and data transmission is possible via RS232 and TCP/IP. Multi-point measurements that were previously connected with multiple amplifiers and displays can now be completed with just this display and the M-Bus connection.
