This is a 4-axis motion control board with interpolation function that is compatible with low-profile desktop computers.
The MC8543PeL is a Low Profile compatible motion control board that can be mounted in slim-type desktop computers. It is equipped with the high-performance 4-axis motor control IC MCX514, allowing independent positioning control or speed control of 4-axis servo motors or stepping motors with a single board. Similar to the MC8541P and MC8541Pe, it features interpolation functions, including 2-axis/3-axis linear interpolation, arc interpolation, bit pattern interpolation, as well as 4-axis linear interpolation, 4-axis bit pattern interpolation, and helical interpolation.

basic information
● Speed Range Free You can set all speeds from 1pps to 8Mpps in 1pps increments. Additionally, since there is no speed multiplier setting, the output drive pulse can be set directly as the speed parameter. ● Eight-Stage Pre-buffer Register for Continuous Interpolation To support high-speed continuous interpolation drives, it is equipped with an eight-stage pre-buffer register that stores endpoint data for each segment. Even if there are short segments like Seg3 in the diagram at the bottom center, continuous interpolation can be performed as long as the average moving time of the eight segments, including Seg3, is longer than the dataset time for the next segment position. ● Diverse Interpolation Functions In addition to conventional 2-axis/3-axis linear interpolation, CW/CCW arc interpolation, and 2-axis/3-axis/4-axis bit pattern interpolation (interpolation based on bit data from the CPU), CW/CCW helical interpolation can also be performed.
