It is possible to weave with a mesh size of 45μm or less! There are two types: mesh screens and plate screens.
The old sieve is made of metal wire woven at right angles (plain weave), and for sieves with a nominal size of 3.35 mm or larger, to prevent sieve distortion, the metal wire can be pre-bent before weaving. There are two types: mesh and plate (where the woven mesh part is made of perforated metal).
