SP009 is a surge protector that protects video equipment from high voltage surges transmitted through AHD/HD-TVI/HDCVI and composite video signal transmission cables. - It protects connected devices from sudden voltage spikes caused by induced lightning and other sources. - The terminals are BNC male to BNC female, allowing for direct connection between the BNC terminal on the back of the camera and the cable. *Please connect the device to be protected at the Equipment End of the cable that may have surges flowing in at the Cable End. *Ensure that the ground wire is properly grounded (Type D grounding).
