The HDD501A is an HDTV down converter that formats HDTV serial digital signals (SMPTE292M 1080i/59.94Hz) into digital SDI signals (SMPTE259M 4:2:2i 270Mb/s). It supports four types of aspect ratio conversion. The input signal is an HDTV serial digital signal, compliant with BTA-S004B (video signal) / S006B (embedded audio synchronized audio, supporting only 48kHz sampling). 【Aspect Ratio Conversion】 ■ Mode 0 (Squeeze): Displays a normal size 4:3 screen as is. ■ Mode 1 (Side Cut 12:9): Cuts the left and right sides of a 16:9 image to convert it to 4:3. ■ Mode 2 (Letterbox): Adds black bars to the top and bottom of a 16:9 image to convert it to 4:3. ■ Mode 3 (Semi Letterbox 13:9): Reduces the cut portions on the left and right from Mode 2 and the black bars on the top and bottom to convert it to 4:3. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
