In the past, the production of plastic parts for our company's products, such as fountain pens and ballpoint pens, required one worker per injection molding machine, who operated around the clock in three shifts to remove the molded products from the molds. In 1967, with the aim of improving this removal process, we began developing an automatic removal device for injection-molded products, and in 1969, the prototype RX-0 was completed. At this point, we became the fifth member of the Japan Robot Industry Association. In the following year, 1970, we exhibited and presented at the 3rd Japan Plastics Fair, starting external sales and launching the operations of this division. Since then, we have advanced our technology acquisition and development to meet customer demands, designing and manufacturing advanced post-processing machines such as assembly and inspection devices that require sophisticated technology. Our machine design and control technology, known as "Technology Sailor," along with our expertise in chemistry and metal technology in writing instrument manufacturing, have contributed to improving productivity and quality across various industries, including medical devices, food containers, and media-related products such as CDs, MDs, and DVDs.
