EcoPlan, which manufactures and sells equipment called "Be ONE" that contributes to energy conservation and power saving through demand control by reducing the power consumption of commercial air conditioners, air conditioning units, and refrigeration machines, introduces a case study of its implementation. This is a metal cutting and grinding factory located in Nishio City, Aichi Prefecture. Initially, 16 units of Daikin inverter floor-mounted 10 horsepower were installed in Factory No. 7, along with 6 units of 20 horsepower in the new factory. The following year, an additional 7 units of Daikin inverter floor-mounted 20 horsepower were added, resulting in significant energy-saving effects. Eventually, a REMS-NET subunit was introduced to enable an upgrade to a demand central monitoring system.
