PENTEK DGD Series Dual-Gradient Density Cartridges
100% polypropylene material, designed to be insoluble and resistant to chemicals, with a two-layer density gradient spun filter.
The DGD series cartridges are designed to fit the Pentek Big Blue® filter housing and are made of 100% polypropylene material. The insoluble DGD series cartridges can filter without affecting the taste, smell, or color of the liquid. The crystalline structure of polypropylene offers excellent chemical resistance and is a material that is difficult for bacteria to adhere to. The DGD series features an evolutionary design structure that combines multiple media with varying performance based on the filtering process inside the cartridge, providing up to three times the impurity removal capacity compared to sediment filters of the same size, as well as outperforming the performance of typical spun and string-wound filters. The high-performance characteristics brought about by its unique design make the DGD series cartridges versatile for use in both industrial and household settings.
