Our company, Nakayama Suinetu Kogyo, used a training device for maintenance technicians that intentionally creates abnormalities in rotating machinery to generate issues such as unbalance and misalignment, and compared the data with that of normal conditions. Initial abnormality detection for bearing issues (outer ring scratches) and gear issues (gear chipping) is considered difficult with Conan Air's vibration measurements below 1 kHz, but due to the relatively large faults, we were able to identify abnormalities through frequency analysis using FFT. It can be said that such detection is possible with Conan Air when abnormalities have progressed to a certain extent. This document is a report on the results of our comparative study with normal conditions.
