Our company performs embossing simultaneously with punching. Conventional technology incurs high costs because it requires a separate process. The current simultaneous embossing does not use a male-female method; instead, it employs cushioning paper or resin stamps, which do not allow for sharp embossing. Why was the male-female method not adopted? It is because aligning the male and female parts is difficult. By using a counter plate with the Menpita-kun method, precise positioning is easily achievable even for very delicate embossing at a low cost.
