Processing technology with precision below 3μm! Introduction to ultra-fine wire cut electrical discharge machining.
Okugi Manufacturing Co., Ltd. specializes in ultra-fine wire cut electrical discharge machining at the micron level. "Wire cut electrical discharge machining" is a melting process performed non-contact by flowing current through a wire thinner than a human hair, creating a discharge phenomenon between the wire and a conductive workpiece such as metal. Our company has established high technical capabilities by flexibly transforming our core business in response to changes in the environment. 【Features】 ■ Processing technology with precision below 3μm ■ No load on metals due to non-contact processing ■ Good finish on processed surfaces ■ Capable of processing narrow grooves and small R shapes ■ Reliable production and quality management *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

We can use wire ranging from 0.02 to 0.2. For fine slit processing, we can handle widths down to 0.03mm. We specialize in fine processing, particularly for small items. We excel in die-cutting for films and product processing. Our main focus is on film cutting ranging from about 0.5mm to 2mm, and to improve the cutting surface, all our molds are produced in-house. We have direct transactions with many large companies regarding the cutting of various functional films. We are conducting joint research with Tokyo Metropolitan University on cutting thick films, pursuing processing that eliminates burrs. In mass production and wire prototypes, we have created our own internal process chart aiming for zero defects. To improve mold accuracy and for fine processing, we have two wire-cutting machines dedicated to oil processing and one water processing machine, allowing us to respond to short delivery times. Regarding inspection capabilities, we can measure up to 100 times using three-dimensional optical measurement.
