Compact and portable Open qPCR real-time PCR device.
There are 16 wells, supporting a sample volume of 10-15 μL per reaction. The system has a maximum heating rate of 5°C per second, enabling rapid cycling through heating and cooling effects, completing test evaluations in just 20 minutes. Multiple Open qPCR devices can be connected to a single computer via Ethernet, allowing simultaneous analysis of the required number of samples.

The Open qPCR real-time PCR device offers two models: a single-channel and a dual-channel. The two models primarily differ in the number of fluorescent dye molecules they can detect. The single-channel detects SYBR Green, Chai Green, and FAM fluorescent dye molecules through channel 1, while the dual-channel detects HEX, VIC, and JOE fluorescent dye molecules through channel 2, which can be multiplexed using a light channel that is only available for this device. This device supports high-resolution melt (HRM), touchdown PCR, controlled lamp plate, and unlimited cycling stages. The decomposition features include baseline subtraction, color correction, and melt curve analysis. The Open qPCR software is browser-based and compatible with Mac, PC, Linux, and tablets. The device can be operated via Ethernet or a connected USB cable.
