VAD-SD001A.L1.xxx.8 transmits one bidirectional serial signal over a single optical fiber for long-distance transmission. - Transmission is done between the transmitter (VAD-SD001A.L1.TRC.8) and the receiver (VAD-SD001A.L1.RTC.8) - The serial signal can be selected from RS232C/422/485 - The optical fiber supports both single-mode and multi-mode - The device status is indicated by a status display LED - It is compliant with EMI and RFI protection - With the separately sold VAD-1CC.3A, one channel of contact signal can be transmitted bidirectionally (when set to RS232) - When installing multiple units, a separately sold 19-inch rack mount chassis can be used to accommodate up to 16 units together.
