In the application that will be added to the existing system, the AI Gateway functions as an intermediary between the camera and the host PC. The AI Gateway supports a wide range of interface protocols, including GigE Vision, USB3 Vision, Camera Link, and MIPI. The AI Gateway can optionally incorporate perClass's hyperspectral image editing software (perClass MIra). By using perClass Mira and a hyperspectral camera integrated into the AI Gateway within the existing inspection system, it will be possible to identify the composition of tablets and distinguish plastics, which cannot be detected by conventional industrial cameras.
