We would like to introduce a case study on the implementation of our smartphone IP radio 'Buddycom'. JAL Engineering Co., Ltd. was using dedicated IP radios, but the radios were large and heavy, making them a burden for the maintenance staff who had to carry them. Since the maintenance staff already had smartphones for sharing maintenance information, they considered adopting our product as it could provide similar communication capabilities as the radios.
