Additionally, the captured images are processed to calculate the parallax between the two cameras, creating a three-dimensional image of the target object. Even for irregularly shaped bacon, portion cutting can be performed quickly and accurately with short processing times and stable high precision. Accurately performing fixed cuts for meat, ham, bacon, and other products is difficult with manual labor, leading to significant size and weight discrepancies and poor product yield. Additionally, as production numbers increase, there are challenges in staffing for cutting operations. Operators simply set the desired cutting weight on a touch panel and place the bacon on the conveyor. The weight is automatically measured and precisely calculated using 3D stereo measurement technology. Our original software instantly computes the cutting position based on the set weight and continuously cuts with a cutter.
