This document introduces "chemSHERPA." "chemSHERPA" is a management scheme for communicating information about chemical substances in products. Originally, it was created by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry as a unique Japanese initiative, developed as a scheme for transmitting information about chemical substances contained in products within the supply chain. The spread of chemSHERPA is believed to reduce the burden on both information providers and recipients, and it aims to become an international standard by collaborating with international frameworks such as IEC and IPC.
