In recent years, the spread of smartphones and the miniaturization of electronic devices have progressed, and in parallel with this situation, the demand for electronic components has shifted from the traditionally used sizes of 1608 and 1005 to the smaller sizes of 0603 and 0402. Furthermore, since 2018, major manufacturers of ceramic capacitors and chip resistors have been changing their production lines for 1608 and 1005 size components to focus mainly on 0603 size, leading to ongoing concerns about the supply of larger components in the future. Our company handles a lot of contract design and manufacturing for industrial equipment, and we do not have many constraints regarding board size or mounting area.
