In recent years, Raman analyzers with the ability to measure easily and quickly through transparent containers have become widely used in the acceptance testing of raw materials in the pharmaceutical industry. However, it is difficult to measure through containers such as drums and one-gallon cans because laser light cannot penetrate them. Therefore, we considered a combination of the Mira P and a stand-off attachment, which allows for non-contact measurement by simply opening the lid without sampling, minimizing the possibility of cross-contamination and enabling testing within the warehouse.
