The "Palace Tsurumi" condominium in Tsurumi Ward, Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture, has introduced the red rust prevention device "NMR Pipe Protector" in its 39th year since construction. As the red rust gradually transforms into black rust with a volume reduction of 1/10 due to the NMR Pipe Protector, the Palace Tsurumi conducted an investigation of the red rust blockage rate using an endoscope at two locations in the seventh year after installation, showing a reduction in blockage rates of 35.3% and 17.4% compared to before installation.
