A translucent electrode made of photocatalytic powder and a tandem cell for water splitting using it.
No need for product separation! A novel method for producing translucent photoanodes from photocatalytic powder materials has been developed.
We will introduce a translucent electrode made of photocatalytic powder and a "water-splitting tandem cell" using it. By using titania nanosheets as both an anchor and conductive layer for the powder, we have developed a novel method to create a translucent photoanode from photocatalytic powder materials. By using this translucent powder photoanode as the top cell and a powder photocathode for hydrogen generation as the bottom cell, we enable the construction of a powder material-based tandem cell capable of complete water splitting under sunlight irradiation. 【Features】 ■ Tandem structure ■ Reaction driven in a self-sustained state without wiring ■ No need for product separation ■ Steam splitting (potential use of seawater) ■ Useful energy carrier *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
