The "Pop-A-Plug" from Curtis Wright in the United States is a completely new method for plugging heat exchanger tubes that does not require welding. It uses a special tool to crimp a uniquely designed plug. After polishing with a dedicated brush, a one-touch crimp closure is completed with the same material plug.
