"Non-vibrating hydraulic pile driving" is a method where several reaction piles (sheet piles) installed underground are clamped together, using the pull-out resistance as a reaction to push the next pile into the ground with static load from hydraulic pressure. The pile driving machine, power unit, and crane are set up at the construction site, and the initial reaction piles are installed using a reaction frame. First, the pile driving machine and the reaction frame are installed horizontally, using the total weight on the frame as the reaction to drive the first pile. Then, the pile driving machine is self-propelled to use the driven pile as a reaction pile for the installation of the next pile.
