A wear-resistant processing treatment that involves brazing cemented carbide with a knurled surface using tools for checking objects.
The chuck for gripping objects is exposed to wear depending on the object being gripped. Therefore, high wear-resistant carbide is sometimes selected as a material for the chuck. Particularly for the purpose of gripping objects, it is common to process the surface with a knurling treatment as an anti-slip measure, and this is done using carbide. In such cases, it is possible to manufacture the entire chuck tool from solid carbide, but it is also feasible to consider carbide brazed products where only the surface area, which is the active part, is made of carbide while the base material is made of steel. Ultimately, it can be considered that achieving the intended purpose can be accomplished by using carbide that has been knurled only in the areas exposed to wear.
