What can we do for the Earth? Or let's work hard to protect the environment; it doesn't have to be such a grand thought. Recently, I've realized that since our establishment in 1999, we have been doing good things for the environment in a normal way. For example, in 2001, we quickly launched products made from a new material called "Secolo Wood," which is created by mixing waste wood and waste plastic. In 2003, we released completely independent power supply streetlights called "Solight" and "Hulight." In 2008, at our Kanto factory, we began using solar power, funded by NEDO grants, to cover part of the electricity needed for product manufacturing. The business "Fukei Secolo," which started to create relaxing landscapes, has encountered new scenery while living in the 21st century, often referred to as the century of the environment.
