The performance evaluation of the antenna can be achieved solely through computational transformation of near-field measurements and far-field data. It does not require a specific installation location (an anechoic chamber is not necessary).
The performance evaluation of millimeter-wave antennas, which has been considered difficult in far-field measurements, can now be achieved solely through computational conversion of near-field measurements and far-field data. This eliminates the need for anechoic chambers and ultra-high precision rotators, providing a high-precision and stable measurement environment free from reflective disturbances. Furthermore, this device has been theoretically and experimentally validated after several years of research and development. - There is no influence from the propagation medium. - High-precision measurements of millimeter-wave bands, which have been considered difficult in far-field measurements, are now possible. - Absolute gain, polarization, and two-dimensional patterns can be measured, allowing for antenna diagnostics. - It employs a horizontal scanning method that allows the antenna under test to be installed horizontally. The structure makes it easy to align the antenna under test parallel to the receiving antenna. - Using the included laser displacement meter, it can automatically acquire displacement data of the tilt and unevenness of the surface of the antenna under test. basic information
The measurement frequency range is from 5GHz to 330GHz. *1 If limited to near-field measurements, the physical constraints of the antenna size make 5GHz the limit. *1 For far-field transformation, a range of 10GHz to 330GHz is recommended. For measurements at frequencies other than those mentioned above, please contact us. *1 If you wish to measure from 5GHz, the antenna scanner will be custom-made. Scan Range: - X-axis: 300mm, Y-axis: 300mm - X-axis: 500mm, Y-axis: 500mm - X-axis: 800mm, Y-axis: 800mm - X-axis: 1200mm, Y-axis: 1200mm * Other scan ranges can also be manufactured.
