【Representative Products】 ■ Natrosol Series (Hydroxyethyl Cellulose (HEC)) A nonionic water-soluble polymer that easily dissolves in cold and hot water. ■ Natrosol HMHEC Series (Hydrophobic Hydroxyethyl Cellulose (HEC)) A water-soluble polymer modified with long-chain alkyl groups to be hydrophobic. ■ Blanose Series (Carboxymethyl Cellulose (CMC)) A nonionic water-soluble polymer. ■ Klucel Series (Hydroxypropyl Cellulose (HPC)) A nonionic polymer that can dissolve in cold water and polar organic solvents. ■ Aqualon EC Series (Ethyl Cellulose (EC)) A non-water-soluble polymer that dissolves in a wide range of organic solvents. ■ Culminal・Benecel Series (Methyl Cellulose (MC) / Methyl Hydroxypropyl Cellulose (MHPC) / Methyl Hydroxyethyl Cellulose (MHEC)) A nonionic polymer soluble in cold water. 【Representative Uses】 ■ Natrosol Series The aqueous solution is transparent and exhibits various viscosities depending on the grade, with a tendency for higher viscosity grades to have higher TI values. The R type, which is a dispersion-enhancing type, is the basic model, and the B type, which is resistant to enzymatic degradation, is also available in the lineup. ■ Natrosol HMHEC Series This series has a stronger thixotropic property than regular HEC. In paint applications, it contributes to excellent anti-spattering and leveling properties. ■ Blanose Series A lower degree of substitution (DS) of carboxymethyl groups on hydroxyl groups tends to result in stronger thixotropic properties, while a higher DS tends to result in weaker properties.
