Three-dimensional measuring machine / A world-standard step gauge, Koba Step, used for the calibration of height gauges. It is possible to verify spatial accuracy using a stand and holder that can be set up at an angle. (Two-dimensional measurements are accumulated and reflected in three dimensions.) It ensures high wear resistance by using ceramic contact points and employs low thermal expansion materials, designed with usability in mind. This step gauge has high reliability and is also used by metrology institutes in various countries.

Calibration certificates are standardized by the DAkkS, which is the calibration traceability system certified under ISO 17025 in Germany, but inspections can also be conducted by the German Federal Institute of Physics and Technology (PTB). There are five sizes available: 420mm, 620mm, 1020mm, 1540mm, and 2020mm. A mini type is also available for optical measurement 3D measuring machines (multi-sensor type) in sizes 210mm and 310mm.
