We handle a "pH adjuster" for dampening water. The capability of general acidic dampening solutions is designed to react within a weakly acidic range (pH 4-6), but depending on water quality and the type of ink (UV ink), it can occasionally exceed this range (pH 4-6) shortly after printing begins. While this can be addressed with dampening solutions, it cannot cover all cases.
