Compared to USB repeater cables, there are the following advantages! ■ Stable operation USB repeater cables generally extend USB signals by repeating them through a USB hub IC. This can lead to degradation in USB signal quality. The USB30 series converts USB signals into light for transmission, eliminating the need for components like USB hub ICs that repeat (relay) the signal. ■ Good workability USB repeater cables often have a small housing (box) to implement the USB hub IC in the middle of the cable. This housing is part of the cable but does not bend, which can obstruct installation or cause undue stress. The BAY-USB30 series does not have such a housing in the middle, and the cable itself is also thin. ■ Common features Compatible with USB 3.0 / 2.0 / 1.1 Maximum length of 15m Cable diameter of 4.5mm Compatible with Windows and Apple iOS No dedicated software required / Operates on PC's USB bus power.
