Easy to process even with thin shapes! Achieving high-level quality in complex machining of difficult-to-cut materials and small precision parts.
Traditionally, the processing of hexagonal holes in small-scale production involved drilling a pilot hole and then using a hexagonal punch to process the hexagonal hole through pressing. However, this multi-step process led to issues such as long production lead times, high costs, and the need for dedicated jigs. Our company performs hexagonal hole processing using dedicated tools in a consistent production process. Due to the freedom in process design, hexagonal hole processing has become possible in processes that were not feasible before, allowing for reduced production lead times and lower costs through process consolidation, eliminating the need for dedicated jigs. Additionally, there are advantages such as ease of processing thin-walled shapes, which are difficult to achieve with pressing. [Case Study] ■ Issues - Long production lead times, high costs, need for dedicated jigs, etc. ■ Solution - Perform hexagonal hole processing using dedicated tools in a consistent production process. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
