Residual stress reference piece "CMRS" for X-ray stress measurement and equipment anomaly check.
Residual Stress Reference Specimen "CMRS"
A new standard for inspection and measurement! Easily check for measurement anomalies regardless of type, method, or skill level.
By using residual stress reference specimens, operators can determine whether measurements are being conducted according to procedures and whether there are any abnormalities in the measuring instruments, regardless of their skill level or the type and method of the measuring equipment, and without needing to understand the complex principles of measurement. The usage is simply to measure CMRS with your measuring equipment as usual! With just this, anyone can easily check for abnormalities in measurements. CMRS offers: ■ High stress - 1600MPa (gear material) ■ Medium stress - 800MPa (spring material) ■ Low stress - 400MPa (welded structural steel) ■ Extremely low stress - less than 50MPa (gear material, spring material) The lineup is determined by combining the materials and processing conditions (such as heat treatment and peening) used by the customer, allowing you to choose reference specimens that closely resemble the actual products you will measure. Additionally, a test report detailing the measurement conditions is attached to the CMRS, enabling you to compare the instrument differences and measurement methods with your measuring equipment, thus verifying the reliability of the measurement results. Consultation is also available for materials and stresses outside the above lineup.
