In 2020, Ars's harvesting blades were adopted for the automatic harvesting robot for mini tomatoes. Initially, the implementing company planned to develop an automatic harvesting robot, including a dedicated blade, but faced difficulties in designing the scissors. The scissors are double-edged, making them more challenging to design compared to single-edged knives or kitchen knives. The implementing company decided to forgo in-house development and requested our company, a manufacturer of agricultural and horticultural blades, to develop the dedicated blade.
