Install a noise-canceling speaker in the duct and a pickup microphone at the noise cancellation point. The controller (PC) collects sound from the microphone and outputs sound from the speaker to cancel out the noise, thereby reducing the noise. By adopting a feedback algorithm for the noise control filter, it eliminates the need for a pickup microphone for the noise source required by the feedforward algorithm, achieving this with just one pickup microphone at the noise cancellation point.
