We convert gas at room temperature and pressure into a supercritical fluid by controlling temperature and pressure to above 31°C and 7.4 MPa. [In the case of Capsicum pigment] Capsaicin dissolved in the extraction vessel under supercritical conditions is transferred to the separation vessel through a pressure relief valve, where the separated spiciness and carbon dioxide are collected from the bottom. The gaseous carbon dioxide is cooled and recycled.
