We would like to introduce a case study of a rotational and orbital vacuum mixer that was implemented by a customer manufacturing and selling compound semiconductors. The company previously used a spatula to manually stir the resin and then degassed it using a vacuum degassing machine. However, this method was insufficient for handling high-viscosity resins, which tend to be adopted in development products. There were mainly three issues: variability caused by manual stirring, inability to achieve uniform mixing, and inefficiency in the process. Therefore, they introduced the "Awatori Nentaro ARV-310 (vacuum type)." As a result, they can now register operating conditions for each material in memory, allowing anyone to reproduce the same quality of degassing simply by recalling the memory and starting the operation.
