"Daisy II" is an in vitro incubator that allows for research on in vitro dry matter digestibility (IVDMD) to be conducted more simply and efficiently. Designed with user convenience in mind, it can digest up to 100 samples at a time. Unlike traditional methods that use one flask/test tube per sample, digestion tests can be performed by simply dividing the rumen contents into four digestion jars.
