We have introduced an "AGV robot for material handling from the press to the cleaning machine" to Company O, a major parts manufacturer in Shiga Prefecture. The AGV robot here is responsible for transporting parts between eight parallel presses and two cleaning machines. It travels approximately 30 meters and operates for 16 hours a day. The key point is that previous robotic operations were limited to the robot's range of motion, but with the AGV robot's mobility, it has become possible to operate over a wider work area.
