[New Product] 70GHz Band Automotive Radar Inspection Antenna Coupler
FA-598S 70GHz band antenna coupler
Significantly downsized the waveguide box for inspection and evaluation of 70GHz band automotive radar, achieving miniaturization. An application product of the "near-field measurement" antenna coupler.
The 70GHz band collision avoidance radar has rapidly expanded from being installed in high-end vehicles to multiple installations in compact cars. Radar manufacturers are facing significant challenges in the inspection process, particularly due to the use of large "waveguide boxes." This is largely attributed to the traditional mindset of using "horn antennas" for "millimeter-wave detection." By utilizing our developed "near-field measurement" antenna coupler, it is possible to significantly downsize the inspection equipment. Testing for 5G base stations and devices is already being conducted in compact OTA testing environments. The antenna coupler may be an unfamiliar product name, but it is a "near-field antenna" that transmits and receives radio waves at close range. We hope you will download the technical documentation.

Detailed information
-

By utilizing a "shield box" that employs an antenna coupler for "near-field measurement" instead of the conventional "horn antenna" for millimeter-wave radar inspection, significant space savings can be achieved (with the distance between the radar and antenna reduced to less than 1/5 and the dimensions of the box reduced to less than 1/3).

Morita Tech has been an innovation company since its founding, utilizing four solution capabilities: "5G," "EMC," "Shielding," and "High Frequency," to continuously realize products and technologies that solve challenges in various industrial businesses. In recent years, we have developed a "Compact OTA (Over The Air) Testing Environment" equipped with a short-range transmission and reception device called "Antenna Coupler," which has received great acclaim from telecommunications carriers and local 5G operators, and has been widely adopted in their "labs." In local 5G, it is used as a desktop OTA testing environment and interoperability testing system for the development and verification of base stations and terminals utilizing open source. Additionally, our product lineup includes various solutions as applied products for EMC visualization solutions aimed at achieving carbon neutrality (decarbonized society), such as "visualization of secondary batteries, visualization of partial discharge, and visualization of transient noise." We have four core departments and technologies in-house: "Mechanical and Structural Design," "Electrical Design," "Software Development," and "Manufacturing and QA," and we are fully committed to meeting our customers' expectations and demands while building long-term mutual trust relationships with them.
