Elevator explosion vent - lightweight with high discharge efficiency
The Q-Ball E type ensures safe release of explosion pressure within the operating area. Flames are efficiently cooled and extinguished inside the Q-Ball E type, eliminating pressure effects from explosions. The Q-Ball E type is suitable for frameless explosion venting of low-strength designed mechanical conveyors, such as bucket elevators. It can handle explosion indices based on KSt values of up to 200 bar x m/s. The installation nominal diameter of the Q-Ball E type is designed to perfectly fit the standard sizes of mechanical conveyors like elevators. There is no need for flange adjustment work. The Q-Ball E type is lightweight, so reinforcement of the conveyor shaft is also unnecessary. A new frameless explosion venting principle has been developed for all surfaces, ensuring the Q-Ball E type provides the highest venting efficiency. As a result, it is possible to minimize the required explosion venting space.
