This document introduces a method for analyzing the components of snacks (potato chips) using NIR (Near Infrared Analysis Device). To ensure quality assurance in potato chips, the items "moisture" and "oil content" are measured. The measurement of these components requires the use of hazardous reagents and skilled techniques, so a calibration curve that can be measured using near infrared has been created for the analysis of potato chip components. As a result, it has become possible to simultaneously measure "fat" and "moisture." Therefore, we have established an automated measurement method for analyzing the components of potato chips using NIR.
