The PacketLight PL-4000T is a high-capacity solution for deploying 400GbE and 100GbE services or expanding the capacity of existing networks. It features four pluggable 400G uplink optical modules and provides up to 1.6T in a 1U chassis. Optionally, Mux/Demux, EDFA (amplifier), and optical switch (OSW) can be integrated within the same enclosure, enabling space-saving long-distance transmission. This allows for a reduction in total costs, such as fiber costs and network nodes. It is equipped with local and remote monitoring capabilities (SNMP/syslog) via LAN and OSC, as well as a serial console and office alarm contacts.
