The PL-1000TN can accommodate up to six multi-protocol transponders for mapping 10G services over OTU2/2e/2f OTN. This is a highly integrated solution for uniformly transmitting different protocols over a common optical transport layer. It is equipped with local and remote monitoring capabilities (SNMP/syslog) via LAN and OSC, as well as a serial console and office alarm contacts.

- Equipped with 6 independent ITU G.Sup43 standard-based multi-rate 10G OTN transponders - Supported clients: 10G/40G LAN, 8G/10G Fibre Channel (FC), STM-64/OC-192, and OTU2/2e - Performance enhancement through three types of FEC: ITU G.709 GFEC, G.975.1 EFEC I.4, and UFEC I.7 - Supports full C-band tunable DWDM with line-side optics - Supports multi-rate client interfaces on a common OTN infrastructure - 1+1 facility and optical switch line protection - Comprehensive performance monitoring and complete OTN managed layer - Optional integration of EDFA (amplifier), DCM, MUX/DEMUX, and optical switch (OSW) - Remote management via in-band GCC or out-of-band optical monitoring channel (OSC) - Low power consumption and cost-effective 1U platform, ideal for CLE (Customer Located Equipment).
