By reversing the polarity of the EDM, the electrode material itself becomes the welding material, discharging and heating at the contact point with the workpiece (gap generation area = 2μm), forming a strong diffusion layer on the workpiece surface while alloying and depositing. **Features of T-SPARK** - **Low Heat Input**: Due to low heat input, there are no adverse thermal effects (such as distortion, shrinkage, or hardness changes) on the workpiece. - **High Adhesion**: The alloying of the electrode material and the base material (forming a diffusion layer) achieves high adhesion. - **High-Function Coating**: The functionality of the coating is dramatically improved as a large amount of electrode rod components remain in the coating layer. - **Portable**: The device is portable and can be easily transported anywhere indoors or outdoors, making it ideal for on-site work. - **Improved Surface Roughness**: The hybrid coating of discharge and laser improves surface roughness and expands the range of applications.
