Efforts are being made around the world to supply vaccines to the public as quickly as possible. Currently, container manufacturers are rapidly advancing production to ensure they do not become a literal bottleneck in the supply chain. The demands placed on manufacturers are significant, requiring not only the rapid production of large quantities of products but also the maintenance of particularly stringent high-quality standards. In response, a cost-effective, easily integrable, and highly reliable solution has been developed by a company in Bad Königshofen to inspect vaccine containers. Isotronic GmbH has developed the VialChecker, an automatic inspection system for glass vials. Our industrial cameras from the 'uEye CP camera family' are used as image processing components for dimensional and surface inspection.
