Q. What are the dimensions of the hard chrome plating tank? A. We have two tanks: one measuring 1.8m in width, 3.8m in length, and 2.4m in depth, and another measuring 1m in width, 2m in length, and 1.5m in depth. Q. What is the maximum thickness that can be applied for hard chrome plating? A. It depends on the customer's request, but typically we perform standard plating (dimensioning) and thick plating. There are also methods to finish by performing other processes (polishing). Q. Can it be applied to any material? A. Mainly to iron, cast iron, stainless steel, etc., but for more details, we will respond via email or phone. Q. Can hard chrome plating be applied partially? Is it only for new products? A. It can be applied partially. Additionally, we welcome not only new products but also overhauled items. We apply it to various shapes of molds as well. Q. Sometimes the color tone of hard chrome plating appears milky white; why does this happen? A. If the plating conditions are the cause, it may occur when there is a poor balance between temperature and current. Additionally, the shape can also lead to a milky white appearance.

- Chrome plating is excellent in wear resistance, lubrication, rust prevention, and corrosion resistance, and is applied to sliding surfaces of hydraulic components and molds. - The hardness of hard chrome plating is specified to be over 750 Vickers hardness in JIS H 8615 industrial chrome plating, but our company has good measurement results of "approximately 1004 to 1086 for SCM440" and "approximately 1049 to 1052 for S45C." 【Plating Material】 ■ Carbon Steel (SS400, S45C) ■ Alloy Steel (SCM, SNCM) ■ Tool Steel (SKS) For other materials, please contact us. 【Hard Chrome Plating Tanks】 ■ Width 2m × Length 4m × Depth 3m ■ Width 1m × Length 2m × Depth 1.5m For surface roughness specified in the drawings, we will perform polishing and buffing before and after plating to meet those standards. We also carry out processing for stripping hard chrome plating only, as well as re-plating after stripping. For those requiring hydrogen embrittlement removal treatment after hard chrome plating, we will perform baking treatment.
