Suitable for the Ship Recycling Convention and easy to create inventory! Introduction of gaskets for ultra-high temperature environments.
The "NAPI-800/800E series" is a gasket for ultra-high temperature environments that uses zero-asbestos materials as a substitute for traditionally used asbestos. By increasing the heat resistance of the internal material from 500-550°C (asbestos) to 1,000°C (zero-asbestos), we have reduced the generation of corrosive gases, which are believed to cause pitting at high temperatures, thereby improving quality. The "NAPI-800 series" has achieved results of MAX 1000°C in a 22-hour heat resistance test and has a proven track record of withstanding use as a gasket at around 800°C, receiving very positive feedback. [NAPI-800 Series Features] ■ Suitable for zero-asbestos high-temperature gaskets ■ Incredible heat resistance of 1000°C, practical maximum of 800°C ■ Low price and standard products ■ Reliable track record over many years *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Asbestos testing in Japan is conducted using the JIS method, which employs "X-ray diffraction" and "phase contrast and dispersion microscopy." However, this method has been criticized for its flaws, such as misidentifying other particles as asbestos and potentially missing asbestos content below 5%. Therefore, even products deemed non-asbestos in Japan may be determined to contain asbestos when tested using the polarized light microscopy (PLM) method, which is recognized as a more reliable method in Europe and the United States. To avoid such situations, a standard called "Zero Asbestos," which ensures that products contain no asbestos and have passed inspections using polarized light microscopy (PLM) and even more reliable electron microscopy, is gaining traction. In July 2012, an ISO asbestos analysis method was published, and the JIS method was excluded, accelerating this movement domestically. In anticipation of this trend, our company has obtained the trademark for "Zero As" and has promptly introduced inspections using polarized light microscopy and electron microscopy. Since 1990, all our products have been certified as Zero Asbestos, so please use the "Zero As Gasket NAPI Series" with confidence.
