Cubic diamond powder is an artificially synthesized nanodiamond created by detonation in an inert environment. It is formed when carbon instantaneously grows into diamond crystals. Unlike single crystal diamonds produced by traditional graphite static pressure conversion methods, nanodiamonds are rounded and spherical, with a primary particle size of about 4 to 7 nm. They are mainly used as additives for applications such as ultra-precision polishing, plating, and heat sinks.
